Does the calculator include the start date?

Yes. The start date is counted. You can separately choose whether the end date is included.

Can I include public holidays?

Yes. Enter each holiday or closure date in YYYY-MM-DD format. Holidays are only subtracted when they fall inside the selected range and are not already excluded as weekends.

Can weekends count as business days?

Yes. Choose “No” under weekend exclusion for businesses that operate seven days a week.

What happens when the end date is before the start date?

The calculator walks through the range in reverse and still counts the selected dates.

Is a business day legally the same everywhere?

No. Contracts, countries, banks, and organisations may define business days differently, so check the rule that applies to your deadline.
